Hyde Park Picnic Afternoon

Thursdays we have a three hour break between our lecture and our discussion, and usually we just sit around near the study centre and waste the time away, but seeing as today was such a BEAUTIFUL day - we decided to try something new. Like really...the sun was shining, the sky was wonderfully blue, the clouds were fluffy and white, and there was no rain anywhere off in the distance. So Bridget suggested that we all go to Hyde Park and have a little picnic. It was soo very nice. Really a lovely way to spend the afternoon. We bought pre-made sandwiches from Sainsbury's market, and just sat on the lawn in the sun and ate and took in all the glorious sunny weather. More pictures are to be found below.

OMG, I had no idea your new pictures were added to the bottom of all the blog posts!!!! Those are great photos from Paris, the park, the musee, everwhere!!! Thanks. I am in Georgia now with Annica, we took a trip to the Smokey Mountains rather than Annica going to Homecoming Dance, she wanted to escape. We happened to hit it at the peak "fall color" season . . . it truly was amazing, I mean, really. It looked like someone took the mountains of thick trees and painted them with reds, oranges and yellows. We did a 6 mile hike Saturday, and 8 miles on Sunday, Annica was amazing, she did really well. We met some interesting people on the trial, the "hiker" and "nature" types were interesting, the wayward tourists were not so interesting. I'll post photos on my blog later, once back in California. Later. Dad
